In just three days in April of 2011, over 300 tornadoes battered the United States in one of the most extreme weather events in history. Meteorologists and storm chasers track the tornadoes in Mississippi and Alabama and describe the conditions that led to the formation of such a massive storm system. The program chronicles the paths of the largest tornadoes and provides first-hand accounts of the destruction experienced in many towns and cities in the South.
