More About this Product
This program helps children understand why prevention is so important when it comes to HIV and AIDS. It introduces adolescents to some of the basic facts about HIV and AIDS in a sensitive and careful way, preparing them for some of the difficult decisions they will make as they approach their teenage years. Through discussion, demonstration, and animation, the children will see what the virus does inside the body and why it leaves the body so vulnerable to other infections, and how HIV develops into AIDS. The program explores the ways that HIV can and cannot be contracted, so that children can identify safe and risky behaviors and can make good choices about their health.
