The Milky Way is just one of the many galaxies in the universe. The center of our solar system, the sun, is one of the many stars found in this spiral-shaped star system. This program explores the beginning of our solar system using clues provided by the Hubble space telescope. From there, the program explores the sun and its nine planets, noting specific details about each. Other heavenly bodies like asteroids, comets and meteors are also discussed. We don’t really know how many solar systems exist, or even if life exists elsewhere in the universe, but we do know that astronomers will continue exploration of our solar system and beyond.
