Jeff and his film crew travel to the remote Alaskan tundra to study climate change and its impact on the ecosystem's largest predator, the polar bear. With biologists predicting polar bears may become extinct in the wild within fifty years, the bears were labeled a "threatened" species on the endangered species list in 2008. Jeff teams up with a wildlife biologist who is tagging and collecting data on polar bears to help protect this species in its fragile habitat.
