Wild Pacific: Fragile Paradise DVD
Threats to the Pacific Ocean and its marine life date back to the 1700s when whale hunting was a popular industry. Since the ban in the 1970s, the whale population has increased, but other marine life populations have become seriously endangered to commercialized fishing. Over 60 percent of the world's caught fish comes from the Pacific Ocean, and marine biologists predict that there will not be a seafood item on a menu in forty years.
