Watch as some of the world's leading scientists put the most ambitious geo-engineering ideas to the test in order to tackle global climate change. From covering acres of Greenland's glaciers in protective blankets to constructing space rockets to sending tiny reflective lenses into orbit, these experiments push the boundaries of science and technology by exploring eight creative ideas that just might reduce global warming.

INFINITE WINDS joins a team of elite scientists as they attempt to reduce the impact of global warming by developing alternative energy sources. Airship designer Fred Ferguson believes that floating wind turbines could generate enough electricity to eliminate humanity's need for coal, oil, and natural gas. Ferguson and the Discovery Project Earth team travel to the Dominican Republic, France, and rural Virginia to test materials and prototypes in the hope that one of their designs will lead to a future of clean, green energy.
