MythBusters: Electricity DVD
The MythBusters take on a tale that has been told in American classrooms for generations: Ben Franklin discovered electricity by flying a kite with a key attached to it during a thunderstorm. Adam and Jamie recreate the experiment to find out if it's possible to draw sparks from the key—and live to tell about it.
Is it fact or fiction? Special effects experts Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman take urban legends and put them to the scientific test. The concepts presented in each video will have students looking at science in a whole new way.
